Turret placement is a game of precise geometry, aggro manipulation, and predicting the enemy’s pathfinding AI.
Novice players tend to panic and place their defensive buildings directly in front of the incoming threat, often right at the bridge.
The Anti-Tank Center Pull
When the enemy tank crosses the bridge, its AI will calculate that your center turret is closer than your Princess tower, causing it to walk sideways.
As the tank trudges toward the center, it will be simultaneously shot by your defensive building AND both of your Princess towers.
- The ‘anti-lightning’ placement is crucial in high arenas.
- You have a fraction of a second to place the building before it locks onto the tower.
- Use cheap cycle buildings like cannons for fast threats.
Defending Against Siege and Spawners
Your goal is to use your building as a physical meat shield, absorbing the artillery fire while your troops cross the bridge to destroy it.
Similarly, if the opponent is using ‘Spawner’ buildings (like Goblin Huts) to create endless lane pressure, placement is key to survival.

| The Spell Threat | Place the building extremely high up by the river so the lightning spell cannot physically hit the building and your tower simultaneously |
Building the Perfect Fortress
When you master turret placement, your opponent will feel as though their units are fighting through thick mud.
Control the geography of the battlefield, dictate the pathing of the enemy, and build an impenetrable wall.
